As part of the fundraising initiatives by the Nursery School Parent Council we are going to be offering photos with Santa! This is the same Santa that the school uses for the Christmas concert. He is very good with children had grows his own white beard!
Bring your children on Saturday, November 22nd between 9am and 12pm.
Cost will be $15 per pose that include 1 5×7 and 4 wallets two 5×7’s.
Hot chocolate and candy canes will be available.

Wednesday, November 12th and Thursday, November 13th
Both the AM and PM classes will be walking to the cenotaph at Town Hall to see all the wreaths laid there to remember the soldiers.
Be sure to dress your children appropriately!
On Wednesday, October 29th and Thursday, October 31st children can wear their Halloween costumes to school. Treats for treatbags would be appreciated.
Full time children do not feel obligated to dress up for both days or supply treats for both days.
No homemade treats please, due to Health Regulations and our Peanut/Nut-free environment.
There will be an open house at the nursery school from 6-8pm on October 23rd. Everyone is welcome to come and visit the school and the teachers.
Please be aware that we are CLOSED next Monday the 13th on Thanksgiving Day. School resumes on Tuesday. Enjoy your dinner!
October’s Field Trip will be at Price’s Country Market. The cost is $4.00 per child per visit, and you can bring that to the school as soon as possible.

If you are unsure about nursery school (and we’re not really sure why you would be), 3 spots have been made available whereby your child can come to nursery school for a month… at no cost!
These spots have generously been made with the help of other parents who believe strongly in the benefits of nursery school. Your child will benefit from the “learning through play” atmosphere, and will receive valuable experience that will prepare them for Kindergarten.
As mentioned, there are only 3 spots available, so please act fast! If you’re reading this and already have your child enrolled, please spread the word.

On September 18th from 6pm to 8pm there will be an open house at the nursery school. This is a great opportunity for interested parents to meet the teachers, check out the school, and learn more about how great Bowmanville Nursery School is!

This week you may have noticed that there is road construction taking place around the Beech Centre on Beech Ave. Access to Beech Ave. may be restricted to either Concession St or Lowe St depending on the work being done that day. This is a reminder to all students and parents, whether driving or walking to school, to be mindful of this construction and to proceed with caution.
